There is one wall of separation that has divided the camps of Christians all over the world and it stems from the phrase: ‘Faith alone’ and/or ‘Grace alone.’
Usually, when we hear this being emphasized in a sermon or teaching, it means – the work of Salvation has been done by Jesus so we are to be careful to believe in His work and do nothing else. For to do anything means we are trying to work for salvation.
We all agree that Jesus has finished the work that needed to be done to secure salvation to those who would believe in Him.
For many however, faith alone and grace alone are what give us our licenses to salvation and a ticket to heaven and become a sacred cow because faith alone and grace alone are what sits on the throne of our Christian lives. Where in truth, Jesus in His own words affirms to us:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
When we adopt faith and grace alone faith – we cannot go on in the depths of the Lord Jesus Christ. This kind of faith we profess does not allow us to.
When Jesus Christ is on the throne of our lives we can go on with Him in His Spirit, in the truth, the way, and the life in peace with the Father.
We will never see nor go beyond what we choose to build our Christian camp upon. We have to see the sacred cows for what they are: idolatry!
Our faith is not in faith. Our faith is not in grace. We must put these in the proper perspective and order! It is Christ alone, not faith alone, not grace alone. Our hope and life depend upon Christ, alone – Amen.

Why is it so difficult to grasp this simple truth?
